It’s not too late to make plans to visit a beach. I wish that I could make a road trip like some of my friends and co workers have done. It seems that Myrtle Beach is the place to go this season. I’ve never been much of a golf player, Putt Putt is more my style, but I have several friends that are really into the game of golf and apparently Myrtle Beach has some really great golf courses close by that are well known and enjoyed all year round. And there are some decent golf packages available through many Myrtle Beach hotel sites.
I understand that Myrtle Beach is experiencing a booming business this year since the BP oil leak. Many beaches are not open due to the oil issue and people are flocking to South Carolina and their famous Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach has a lot to offer. I’m hoping that next year I might be able to take a 3 day weekend and go there. Something to plan for and save up for starting now.
The UPS guy should be dropping off the pet bed that I ordered online for my aging Pug, Scooter. The vet has recommended that I get Scooter this memory foam pet bed so that his aging and aching bones will find some type of relief from the arthritis that has been affecting him this past year or so.
This memory foam pet bed was very affordable. The price really didn’t matter, I just want to do what is best for my best bud at this point, but saving money along the way just makes sense.

My mother has invited me and my brother to go to Myrtle Beach South Carolina shortly after Labor Day for beach time and golfing. I’m all for that thank you very much. But she has asked me to research online the resorts for golf in Myrtle Beach since I have become so ”proficient using the Internet” as she puts it so nicely. So I have been spending some time the last couple of hours for golf packages in Myrtle Beach.
I had no idea how many resorts there are in today’s Myrtle Beach, but I think that I have found one that might interest my folks at ttimesonly.com/ where I see that they are offering good prices and some interesting golf packages. So I’m shooting my mom an email with the link provided and we will see what thinks about my choice. Little did I know that she also asked my brother to take some time and do the same thing. I’m quite curious to see what he comes up with.

It seems that most of the repairs that I have been trying to tackle around the house, inside and out, are out to get me! I have this huge, and ever growing list of minor repairs that really need my attention. Each time I try and get something done, there is at least one or two issues with the darned thing. Either I don’t have the correct tool that works, or I’m missing screws and/or the right lock washers, or I drop something and it ends up damaging what I was trying to fix now on a larger scale.
It’s getting to the point that I am leery of trying to do much of anything lately. Makes me wonder what ladder I walked under, because I certainly didn’t break any mirrors and there aren’t any black cats around here.
The Tidewater Golf Club Plantation in North Myrtle Beach
I’ve gone online to myrtlebeachgolf.net to find information about a golfing at the beach vacation for my folks and I. We all enjoy a good game of golf, it’s been a great way for our family to do things together, spend time with each other while enjoying every thing else that goes along with the playing of this game they call golf.
I found this Tidewater Golf Club Plantation, which is located in the part of Myrtle Beach that I really enjoy, the North Myrtle Beach area. There are plenty of Myrtle Beach golf courses to choose from, but ended up at this wonderful site that set me up with the much anticipated tee times and our lodging as well which worked out quite well. I’ve never been one to set up reservations and the like so it was a bit intimidating at first but in all actuality is was pretty darn easy compared with what I expected.
