For Father’s Day this year; my little sister has written a poem for our Dad, it’s a keeper. It is such a good piece of work that she has decided to put it on the Internet and present it to our Dad on his lap top come Sunday. Father’s Day is always on a Sunday. In order to do that she needs to choose a web hosting provider and get a web site up and running, one that she intends on keeping on with writing her poetry on. She has got a talent for writing and I think that this is a wonderful idea, one that I totally support.
She has begun doing her homework on which web hosting provider to go with. She found and used a website which is a top notch web hosting rating site that provides a good amount of some very useful information for someone like her that is new to the task of having a website. She is just starting out and isn’t interested in a lot of bells and whistles, plus she doesn’t want a bunch of strings attached either. A freebie would be the best bet for her at her age with a very limited budget, but I’m sure she will have to deal with a good amount of pop ups and other annoyances, but such is life!

I on the other hand give my dad the same thing each and every year, a box of cigars. I mix it up each time and have never bought him the same kind twice. He always enjoys the anticipation that comes along with seeing what kind of cigars discount I have come up with. This year it is a sampler, which I think is always welcomed and appreciated. Variety is the spice of life!
Thankfully the pandora beads that I ordered came in yesterday afternoon. Talk about cutting it close, two days before the big day. I was really starting to sweat it. The worse thing is that I had no one else to blame but myself for the stress I caused myself worrying about the whole thing which doesn’t make it feel any better. I did pretty good this year with picking up a good amount of the necessary gifts, that we are expected to produce each Christmas, throughout the year. The rest I started seriously looking at and buying a few months ago.

But this one order of several pandora beads that several people on my list seem to enjoy, just dragged on and on for some reason. Well actually a lot of it was that I couldn’t make up my mind on which beads would be appreciated by which person. I am a typical Libra and have a hard time making certain decisions which leads me to procrastinate which gets me in trouble and then the stress comes creeping in.
This is one of the pandora beads that I got for my oldest sister. It is a sterling silver and 14k yellow gold Family of Five Forever charm, which fits her family like a charm! LOL!
Finally heard from my dad about my mom. He called from the hospital to let me know that they are transferring her out of the ICU back down to the 2nd floor because she has been doing so well as of last night and today. They had my mom out for some more testing so he took advantage of the waiting time to call me and my brother and sister. We had all decided that if she wasn’t getting any better that we would all just gather and take a trip down there despite her feelings about not receiving any visitors. None of us could live with the thought that some thing could have happened to her and we didn’t at least get a chance to see her. There is never a good time for something like this to happen, but right before Christmas is certainly on the list of worse times.
There is a chance that when she is released that the both of them will be staying with my sister and her family until she feels well enough to go back home. This will really make Christmas a challenge for everyone, but the main thing is that our mother gets back on her feet as soon as possible.
Not knowing a single thing about yoga, when my sister asked me to get her one of the yoga bolsters that she had picked out and sent a picture of to me today in an email, I wasn’t quite sure exactly what to think. Not that it’s a big deal for me to know in order to order and give to her, it’s just that it made me realize that I really don’t know a lot about my sister and what she is into these days. Heck I didn’t even know she was into yoga for heaven’s sake.

So I have decided that once the holidays are all over and done with we are going to have to start spending more time with each other. It’s not like we live all that far from each other, but we all get so darned busy and next thing you know we only seem to communicate with a text now and then, or an occasional email or a shout out on Facebook and that just doesn’t seem to be cutting the mustard lately. More face to face is needed and I’m going to try and manage more face to face in the very near future. I sure hope she feels the same way!
So many buttons, switches and other necessary gadgets involved with this piece of equipment, the akai apc40 musicians friend that my sister sent me the picture and link to for me to check out as a possible Christmas gift for our kid brother. I swear I don’t think I could ever figure how what is what on this particular Performance Controller that our brother would really flip over if we (my sister and I) decide to go in together and get it for him. He has just started doing some D.J. work and wants to do more but lacks some of the equipment that would make this job easier and more fun along the way and my sister and I would be pleased to help him in any way that we possibly can. It’s all good little bro!
