The current TV commercials for Jack in the Box have Jack, their main man, hurt and in the hospital. There is a whole series of vignettes about the accident, the ER, the hospital room, etc. that is cute and ends with a web site address: hangintherejack.com This is really clever marketing, and typical of the high caliber advertising campaigns run by Jack in the Box. In my opinion, the whole organization is top shelf. I go to Jack in the Box at least once a week for a breakfast burrito. They make theirs with sirloin steak and it’s a bargain.
Every once in while I have a craving for a great burger, and I’ll go to Jack in the Box for one of their sirloin burgers. They are huge and taste better than any other burger in the area with the exception of Backyard Burgers. McDonald’s is last on my list of fast food joints to eat at. Funny how I managed to eat there almost every single day as a teenager and early adult years and can’t even stand the smell of the place or their “food”. The only thing I will go to McDonald’s for is there $1 sweet tea and now a days they are making it so sweet it hurts my teeth.
Right now my favorite Comedy Sit-Com is The Big Bang Theory. It has been on for several years (actually since Sept. 2007, thanks Google!) and I had no clue what it was about or who was in it. I stumbled onto it quite by accident and was hooked by the first commercial break. It comes on several times a night on a few different stations that I get with my Direct TV, most of them I have seen before, at least once, but once in a while I’ll catch a new one.
There are so many funny aspects of this show. I really am impressed the way that they have managed to bring so many members from the hit show Rosie to come over and interact with each other on today’s hit show The Big Bang Theory. I’ve asked a few people if they watch it and so far no one that I know does, a bummer not to have someone to talk and laugh about it/them all.
What I want to know is who is going to show up next from The Rosie Show……I mean is there a chance that Rosie herself might make an appearance? So many questions, so little time.

There are only a few “Reality Shows” that I enjoy watching. Survivor and Wife Swap are the ones that I try and watch and try and keep up with. Hell’s Kitchen used to be entertaining but I got tired of it after the 3rd season. And Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab was a good one as well.
Give me a good comedy any time!

I have direct tv at home and I watch a lot more TV than I’d probably like to admit. I really love everything on TBS mostly because it’s reruns and a lot of the best movies from when I was growing up. I like Friends a lot and Sex and the City, both of which they air a lot, but they also do all kinds of great comedies like The Hangover and also pretty much every movie Cameron Diazhas ever been in. I love watching TV in the afternoons when I get home from my night shift and wake up from my long nap and you know, that’s the best way I can think of to let off steam and get the break I need from the day. I don’t know why so many people like to go on runs or play with the dog – if you asked me what I’d like to be doing at any given moment it would be watching something on TV! That’s the truth!
