I have always enjoyed tree houses. My dad built me and my brothers one of the best tree houses in the neighborhood and I would love to do the same one day for my kids, if that were to ever happen. Today when I signed onto the Internet this story and picture popped up and I couldn’t help checking it out further. This is one serious tree house my friends.
“Everything will reflect in this — the trees, the birds, the clouds, the sun, everything. So it should be invisible nearly in the forest.”

But the architects built it, one of six units in a “Treehotel,” which recently opened 40 miles south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden”
The idea of giving my nephew a gift certificate for his birthday is becoming more and more appealing as I wonder around online looking at the type of street wear that he has requested for clothes this year. This is the first year that his “wish list” didn’t revolve around all the video games that he spends so much of his gaming with, so clothes are a fresh gift idea for him that I’m trying to run with. But I’m afraid that I’m just way too out of the loop in today’s trendy boy’s (I should really say young man, he is turning 16 this year) clothing in order to make a wise selection. So that is what gift cards all about out it seems and it seems to me that this situation requires just that.
Today I took my car in for it’s much needed oil change and just as always, they found a few other issues that need tending to, and I walked away paying over close to $400 and the need to schedule an appointment next week, to bring it back in once the rest of the parts have come in, sigh…..
The need for rechargeable batteries has become great these days, with the price of regular batteries rising and rising each time I go out and try and buy some and that just irks me something awful. There are so many things that I rely on that take batteries and then I have to throw them away and they end up in the landfill, which isn’t “green” at all. So I’ve decided to go ahead and make the switch over to the rechargeable ones that I have found for a good price at radioshack online.
I can really feel for today’s parents that must go through batteries so quickly because most of today’s toys require them.
Back in my junior high school days everyone seemed to really enjoy my company, since I was known for my class clown acts during class. One person I will never forget is the girl that used to be obsessed with my hair by playing with it and running her fingers through it every chance she could. Well to my surprise, she had found out where I was after all these years and had stopped in for a visit for a few hours to reunite with old class mates. I thought it was really cool to see someone I used to attend high school with and see how they turned out. It makes me wonder about a lot of old class mates of mine, I do believe Ill be putting out a search myself for all those who I remember.
