Resse Payton playing with blogging

I am so thankful for the Internet and all that is has to offer everyone these days, I can’t imagine life without my laptop and I’m so ever grateful for email, the best thing to come out of the Internet, in my opinion.

I do everything online, my banking, my checking, my bills, most of my purchasing, it is all done on my laptop and email keeps me in touch with all the family members and friends from all over the world. I have several pals over seas doing their time in the military and I get some strange calls showing up on my Caller I.D. at times, but mainly we keep in touch with emails and I love each and every one that I hear from.

I’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter for a really long time now. I started doing that while I was in college to meet the service requirements of my sorority. Then I realized that I really enjoyed it and have been doing it in one capacity or another since then. I’ve had to switch shelters after moving and stuff like that, but it’s always been a whole lot of fun and a great way to make a difference.

Now something that I like to do in addition to helping out at the shelter is to also help foster puppies that are born in the shelter and don’t necessarily have the space to live in the shelter. I’m thinking about doing it a little more and have been looking at how it can impact my finances. I was looking up a lot of pet-related financial tips online when I saw some info on debt counseling. After I looked through it some I decided to get some counseling because I obviously have some financial issues.

I want to get a little more into puppy training so I can use that to earn a little extra money and get out of my financial issues. It’s going to take more than that, but I’ll figure it out.

I was hoping that my tax refund check was going to be a bit larger than it ended up being. I did my taxes online this year, but when the actually check was deposited into my account it wasn’t the amount that my computer said it would be. That really sucks.

I was hoping to be able to buy a new car this year. I’ve been spending a good amount of time on the computer looking at a variety of vehicles that have caught my eye. My father would like to see me in a mercedes benz cls, wouldn’t that be something? My mother would like to see me behind the wheel of her favorite car which happens to be an aston martin. Like that would really happen! I really like the looks of the new infiniti g37 myself. But reality keeps me in check and I do believe that when I’m ready I’ll be looking for a kia sorento, it’s a good deal all the way around and suits me just fine.

But for now my Honda Accord will hopefully keep me on the road until I can come up with some money in order to get myself a brand new vehicle.

I’m really not that type of guy that is into mens skin care all I do is shave, but I’ve been noticing that my skin isn’t getting any younger and some of my friends that are much older than me are starting to look younger and healthier than me. That is a hard pill to swallow and it has me thinking of starting some type of skin care regiment. I’d like to do a bit of research, ask a few friends and maybe a family member or two and get some feed back on various products and then make a decision on what to purchase.

There are only a few “Reality Shows” that I enjoy watching. Survivor and Wife Swap are the ones that I try and watch and try and keep up with. Hell’s Kitchen used to be entertaining but I got tired of it after the 3rd season. And Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab was a good one as well.

Give me a good comedy any time!
