My goodness has Myrtle Beach grown since I was a kid and went there on summer vacations. I was spending some time on the computer today on my break and was looking at the golf package Myrtle Beach resorts are offering and I was blown away at the many hotels and resorts that are now there. I always enjoyed the North Myrtle Beach area as a kid, my parents always made it a point to stay on the north side. We are creatures of habit.

Watching the Redskins get their butts whooped the other night was a disappointment. I’ve always rooted for the Washington Redskins and try and follow their games when I can. Saturday’s game was just a pre season game but it still sucks to see them lose and so badly at that! I’m glad that I subscribe to Direct TV. I have the NFL Sunday Ticket package and am looking forward to an awesome football season that is getting geared up to start here real soon.
When I moved in here I went online and researched the local tv satellite options and and glad that I went with Direct TV. I found the information out at www.localtv-satellite.com. So far they have provided me with good deals and the reception has been very good since day one. Not at all like the cable that was used to for all those years before I landed here. Going to localtv-satellite.com was a smart move on my part. The Internet has been a valuable tool for me since moving here. I lost connection for about 4 hours earlier today and was starting to get worried not knowing when it would come back on again.

My mother has invited me and my brother to go to Myrtle Beach South Carolina shortly after Labor Day for beach time and golfing. I’m all for that thank you very much. But she has asked me to research online the resorts for golf in Myrtle Beach since I have become so ”proficient using the Internet” as she puts it so nicely. It’s not too late to make plans to visit a beach. I wish that I could make a road trip like some of my friends and co workers have done. It seems that Myrtle Beach is the place to go this season. I’ve never been much of a golf player, Putt Putt is more my style, but I have several friends that are really into the game of golf and apparently Myrtle Beach has some really great golf courses close by that are well known and enjoyed all year round. And there are some decent golf packages available through many Myrtle Beach hotel sites.
I understand that Myrtle Beach is experiencing a booming business this year since the BP oil leak. Many beaches are not open due to the oil issue and people are flocking to South Carolina and their famous Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach has a lot to offer. I’m hoping that next year I might be able to take a 3 day weekend and go there. Something to plan for and save up for starting now.
The Tidewater Golf Club Plantation in North Myrtle Beach

We all enjoy a good game of golf, it’s been a great way for our family to do things together, spend time with each other while enjoying every thing else that goes along with the playing of this game they call golf.
I found this Tidewater Golf Club Plantation, which is located in the part of Myrtle Beach that I really enjoy, the North Myrtle Beach area. There are plenty of Myrtle Beach golf courses to choose from, but ended up at this wonderful site that set me up with the much anticipated tee times and our lodging as well which worked out quite well. I’ve never been one to set up reservations and the like so it was a bit intimidating at first but in all actuality is was pretty darn easy compared with what I expected.
