Today was a rough day for just about everyone in the family. I got a flat tire and didn’t have the correct jack or lug wrench in the car to fix it with. And then all I had was one of those doughnut tires to put on that are only good for about 50 miles or so.Thank goodness for a truck driver that was close by came to my rescue and he got me squared away so that I could take the car to Firestone so that they could get a new tire on the rim for me to pick up in the morning.
My daughter had even a worse day than the one I had. She had her wallet stolen at her new job. The have employee lockers but no locks that the employees can use, so they are responsible for getting their own locks and are pretty much out of luck until they do. So these commercial lockers that the new employees are using are an invitation to the other folks that work there to go into the unsecured lockers and have a field day. I can tell you that I’m none to happy with that piece of information.
There has been a huge push these past for years to make women aware of the importance of having the Best Bra for your individual wants and needs. And there are a lot of bras out there to chose from. I have found that some of the department stores have some of their female employees trained in how to fit other females in today’s very competitive world of under garments, specifically bra.
I myself didn’t really start getting any better at finding the best bra for me until way many years after I started wearing one. Most of us can remember the kids magazine “Highlights” that are still being sent to millions of homes and still being seen in many doctor’s offices all across the country. I’ve decided to get a subscription for my newest niece in the family as her Christmas present this up and coming holiday season. I’ve found highlights coupons online that will make this the most least expensive present as of yet and yet she will get so much use and have so much fun with this time honored kid’s magazine.
It really irks me that each and every store that I shop at has a plastic card to issue you “in order to give you discount prices” we all know that they are using the information that is scanned on that piece of plastic for marketing reasons. I hate that my wallet is so jammed packed with all these plastic cards and not with hard cash. Why don’t they just offer cheaper prices and get on with it?

I’ve had Nationwide Insurance for as long as I can remember having auto insurance. We are always seeing the commercials from the various large insurance companies urging us to switch over and save around $300 a year by doing so. Well I have to say that I went online and got a quote from Progressive and I switched over today and guess what – I’m saving $50 a month which totals $300, just like the commercials are saying. Too funny!
Since my best friend since the 4th grade has decided to go ahead and take the plunge and marry her fiance of 4 years now, I have been handed the position and all the responsibilities of being her Maid of Honor. This is something that I have never done before and to make it such a difficult task is that my best friend lives way up in Toledo Canada which is a crazy long distance away from me. It broke my heart when she moved up there, but thank goodness for cell phones, Face Book, texting and Instant Messaging. Having these communication options available to us has been a blessing.
I have been looking into some of the Toledo wedding florists that I have been able to find by going online to the Internet. All I had to do was Google “wedding florists in Toledo” and then “wedding flowers Toledo” and I came up with a few that I think she will enjoy getting in touch with and seeing for herself all that they have to offer her for her dream wedding. The more I can do for her the better, planning a big long distance wedding is going to be a challenge, but I’m always ready for a good challenge and that is what BFF’s and Maid of Honors do right?
This news kind of came out of no where, my kid brother has decided to go to work for the I.R.S. of all places. Not really sure how I feel about this. I mean just like everything else in life, there is good and bad involved, but I don’t want to really dwell too much on that at this time until I see and learn a whole lot more about it.
Right I’m interested in how he is going to go about all of this. From what I understand you have to study and pass what they call an enrolled agent examination, which is pretty tough and I’ve not known my kid brother to be all that smart, but maybe that is because he is my kid brother and see him in a totally different light than most people. I am happy to know that their is plenty of help on the Internet to help him study and prepare for this enrolled agent exam. He has found a site that has all the enrolled agent study guide offers that he will need in this new controversial adventure that he is about to take part in.
All in all I guess it will be good to have someone in the family connected with the I.R.S, but my kid brother, oh my!
