My brother’s birthday is coming up and I have been looking at mens leather briefcases!! If I’m not mistaken, my parents got him the one he’s carrying now when he graduated college back in the stone age. Well, it’s not that old but it looks like it. He’s one of those ‘what do you get because he’s got everything’ kinda guys and I think I finally found the perfect gift!
The flea markets are doing a booming business these past couple years. There are more people selling things in order to bring in extra money that is needed so badly by most of us, along with more people attending these bargain centers in an effort to get good deals with their hard earned money.
This economy is not lighting up as far as I (or anyone else) can tell. Although I’m hearing that more people are planning on going away for the Memorial Day weekend this year. It must be all the people that work for the banks and mortgage companies that got all of the “bail out monies” from our president.
Long story short, my car was towed to the darned garage this am, $60 just like that, badda boom, badda bing, and the mechanic won’t even be able to look at the darn thing until Monday afternoon. I was informed that it doesn’t look good and that my car would most likely be out of commission for several days and I’m sure to the tune of some major bucks! This really bites!
With the holiday weekend right around the bend, I need and want my car on the road and running!
Knowing that you don’t have to go to a doctor’s office and be charged the high fees that go along with today’s doctor’s appointment, to have a variety of blood testing done really floats my boat. Consumer driven healthcare is an up and coming effort that makes having these options available to us here, all across the country. My brother is having blood testing washington dc work done concerning his liver that we believe is causing him health issues at his early age of 34. Bad livers run in the family and of course just like any other health issue, the sooner you address it, the better off you are, so I’m glad that he is finding a way to get this done now.
The idea of giving my nephew a gift certificate for his birthday is becoming more and more appealing as I wonder around online looking at the type of street wear that he has requested for clothes this year. This is the first year that his “wish list” didn’t revolve around all the video games that he spends so much of his gaming with, so clothes are a fresh gift idea for him that I’m trying to run with. But I’m afraid that I’m just way too out of the loop in today’s trendy boy’s (I should really say young man, he is turning 16 this year) clothing in order to make a wise selection. So that is what gift cards all about out it seems and it seems to me that this situation requires just that.
