Yoga Mats

All of the hard work and rushing around paid off for this year’s Christmas with the family. My favorite gift today were the yoga mats that my brother and his new bride picked out for me. They knew what I wanted and made sure that I got exactly that. They enjoyed the video camera that I gave to them as well. It works out so much better when you communicate and get people things that really want and/or need instead of some crappy generic gift that will most likely be re-gifted at the first opportunity.

Discectomy

It has been a long time coming but my brother-in-law is finally consenting to having the discectomy done on his back that he has been needing for several years now. There just isn’t any other options out there for him at this point. The doctors have tried everything in their power to ease the extreme pain in his back, hips and legs. They have done wonders with this new minimally invasive surgical procedure and we are all excited about the prospect of this discectomy making it possible for him to live a better quality of life here real soon.

Colon Cleansing Issues

One subject that I am going to discuss with my mother and my sister is the issue of colon cleansing, I am hearing more and more about it and I believe that they have tried it and I what to hear the stories and opinion before I go and purchase anything. I have been reading up some on the subject and have talked to a few people here and there and they all swear that a good Colon Cleanse can make a big difference in a lot of areas that I am struggling in, like sleep issues, no energy, stomach aches, back aches, foul breath and a lot of this things I’m blaming on menopause. But I’m thinking that if I can do something about these things that are driving me crazy with a good cleansing product, like Oxy-Powder, I’m thinking it would be worth it. If I do decide to buy some I will do it on-line, that is a sure bet.

A while back while I was laid up with a bum knee I had to watch a few minutes of Rachel Ray. Ugh. She is way too perky for me. She had an interesting guest on – Paula Abdul. Now that is one whacky lady. The strange moments on that show where she is on the jury must all be true. She is just strange. But in a lovable way. And she has a great body, a beautiful smile, and that girl can DANCE!

In a Twilight Zone moment, Rachel asked Paula what she likes to wear around the house and Paula answered, “Either sweatpants or scrub pants – you know, like the doctors and nurses wear at the hospitals. They are SOOO comfortable!”

And Rachel seriously asks, “Oh! Stupid Acne

You would think that by now I would not be even dealing with these stupid Acne issues, but alas I believe that I may be fighting this all of my life, that is very disturbing to me. None of my sisters or brothers seem to have this problem, so I just don’t understand why it is effecting me at this point of my life. I always wash my face at least twice a day. I don’t wear a lot of make up that would irritate the skin and I’ve tried tons of products through out the years to no avail.

A co worker has been telling me about the product that she uses called Resurgence and she is trying to get me to try it and see if it will work for me but I just concerned about spending more money for nothing. I’ve tried to explain my concern to her but doesn’t seem to like taking no for an answer and has found a site that offers Murad Coupon Codes that I could apply to my online order that she has just sent me the link of to check out.

Interstate Hassles

On the way home from work this afternoon I had to take an alternative route home. It appears that a major wreak happened on the Interstate, a hit and run and at least one person was killed. What a mess to deal with on a Monday at the end of a long hard day at work.

Peanut Butter

I love peanut butter sandwiches. You can add honey, or butter, or marshmallow fluff, or a cut up banana or jelly and jams galore and you will always come up with a first class sandwich each time. I don’t have a favorite brand, I usually just buy what is on sale or what looks good at the moment, any peanut butter works for me and it’s good for you, now how cool is that?
