The UPS guy should be dropping off the pet bed that I ordered online for my aging Pug, Scooter. The vet has recommended that I get Scooter this memory foam pet bed so that his aging and aching bones will find some type of relief from the arthritis that has been affecting him this past year or so.

After spending over an hour looking at womens parkas online today, I have finally figured out which one I would like to get, so that I can send the link to my Aunt Judy for her to see. You see Aunt Judy was in the hospital with several health issues for most of the month of December so she didn’t get to do much Christmas shopping or celebrating for that matter. She is home now and is trying to make up for lost time and sending emails out to family members to let her know what we wanted for Christmas but didn’t get and she will do her best to make that Christmas wish come true.

She already knew that I wanted a new parka, we have been discussing the possibility of me buying one for the past year or so. Parkas were very popular and “in style” back when she was a young woman and she couldn’t believe that I didn’t even know what one was. So my email wasn’t asking me what I wanted, but more like which one. I really like the look of this one. I like that it has a fur lined hood, and have sent the link to her as she requested. I’m so excited to get a new parka from a very special person in my life.
I really don’t have any words other than what everyone else in this country has said about the horrific scene that took place today at an elementary school in small town Connecticut U.S.A. I just read that the principal of the school, who lost his life today, had just implemented a new security plan within the school where you had to ring the bell, be seen on a monitor and then allowed in. I will leave it at that and simply post these two videos about today’s senseless mass murder and wait until further information becomes available during the investigation of the 2nd worst/deadliest school shooting in America’s history.
The yoga strap that I ordered for my yoga loving sister-in-law just came in the mail today. I’m so thrilled that I found such a great deal on this particular yoga prop that I know that she has been wanting for some time now, but was holding off on so that someone could buy it for her as a Christmas gift, which worked out well for the both of us. I hope that it is the right kind, as I know nothing about yoga or any of the equipment that they use for it and there were several types being offered at the site that I ordered from.

It’s too bad that she won’t be joining us on Christmas day, but we have all ready decided and planned to get together the week between Christmas Day and New Years. We will have a nice dinner, catch up on all the latest gossip and exchange gifts at that point. A nice quite evening to look forward to, we have always gotten along well together and just because my dumb kid brother acted the fool and they have parted ways doesn’t mean I can’t continue our friendship for as long as we want.
