What awful news to read concerning a childcare provider. It seems that windshield cleaning fluid was served to over a dozen little kids at daycare by mistake. What is that all about? How can some one mistake a cleaning liquid for kool aid, I’ll never know! Any time I hear about a day care doing stupid things, like leaving a child out in a locked vehicle all day or locking a kid in a closet for hours, it makes me so sick. We trust these people to take care of our precious children. Making mistakes that put their lives in danger is not acceptable. No excuse is ever good enough when children are harmed.
Another recall of pistachio nuts is being announced. This problem with our food supply is getting out of hand. We can’t seem to go a month with out at least one food product having issues in one way or another. Usually it is beef, but it has been spinach and now it’s nuts. Makes it hard to decided what is safe and what isn’t, it’s all a guessing game!
OMG I am really feeling my age today. Last night I stepped out with a few friends and indulged in quite a few shots of Tequila, had a blast, but hangovers are hell. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten that toasted. Thank God we had a designated driver and everyone got home safe and sound.
It will be a while before I do that again, I can tell you that much!
An an avid animal love and an owner of several, I really felt bad when I saw this photo of a poor dog that was attacked by a porcupine. Ouch!!!!
I think that we have all had just about enough with all the news stories about Michael Jackson’s death. We need to move on and let them work it out and then let us know what happened at that point.
