Resse Payton playing with blogging

While typing a post about paper dolls I got the song made famous back in the 70′s by Marie Osmond “Paper Roses” I haven’t heard this song in so long, so I turned to YouTube.com and had no trouble finding this beautiful song and wanted to share it here while I was at it.

I wonder how long this song will stick in my head. Some times a song will last a week or so. That’s way too long for anything to be bouncing around inside my head!  LOL

I just love saying “I told you so!) My kid sister was having a hard time finding someone to tackle her bathroom remodeling project, so I told her to just Google “bathroom remodeling houston” which she did and badda boom, badda bing up popped Houston Bathroom Remodeling’s website!

I told you so lil sis, now get ‘er done all ready would you please and quit your whining.

I really should have taken my brother’s advice and his check back in the 90′s that would have provided me with the training and the education that it would take for me to know so much about computers. I could have become an IT and be making good money at this point. Every company needs some type of managed hosting solutions and I could have been there for the ride.

I know such a small amount about computers that it scares me sometimes. When it comes to dedicated server hosting and colocation services, I have to scratch my head and shrug my shoulders most of the time. I have gotten so dependent on our ITs at work that I wish I could call them about some of my home computer issues.

It is a darn good thing that I have a cousin that is a whiz at computers and it pretty good hearted about sharing his talents and skills with friends and family members that find themselves unable to deal with a good amount of computer issues. Every family needs a computer geek to rely on, right?

I’ve found a good website that has great deals on shims and other interesting and useful tools and hardware that I thought I’d pass along here. At reidsupply.com they have tons of good industrial supplies at decent prices and you can request a free catalog right on their homepage if you have the need or desire to. When I find a good thing I like to pass it along if I’m able and I’m really digging how this blog is making that possible.

One of my Facebook friends that went to the same high school as I did, but was a year ahead of me, works as a cigar salesperson and he always has the most interesting pictures and posts to read and enjoy almost everyday from his work. Today he was pictured smoking a nice macanudo cigar and posing with a couple of the Hooter Waitresses. with drinks in hand at some big exciting event in Pennsylvania. He has got to be one of the happiest of my old high school friends and is living the life, which I’m so glad to see, I just wish more of my old friends were living such exciting lives. Way too many of them are in bad health, bad relationships and stuck in a job that they barely tolerate just to keep a paycheck coming in these days.
