HEMA is a Dutch department store. The first store opened November 4,1926, in Amsterdam . Now there are 150 stores all over the Netherlands.

Take a look at HEMA’s product page. You can’t order anything and it’s in Dutch but just wait a couple of seconds and watch what happens.

Don’t click on any of the products pictured, just wait and see what happens. Be sure you have your sound turned on.

This company has a sense of humor and a great computer programmer.

I don’t know what I would do with out my slow cooking Crock Pot, now that I have figured out so many ways to use it, I find myself pulling it out from under the counter more and more as time goes by. Today was a perfect day to put it to use, they way it spills the aroma all through out the house is just wonderful and keeps everyone from wondering too far from the house come dinner time, that puts a smile on my face.

I love peanut butter sandwiches. You can add honey, or butter, or marshmallow fluff, or a cut up banana or jelly and jams galore and you will always come up with a first class sandwich each time. I don’t have a favorite brand, I usually just buy what is on sale or what looks good at the moment, any peanut butter works for me and it’s good for you, now how cool is that?

Had to go to the local Jiffy Lube during lunch yesterday and have them throw an oil change on my car. Thank goodness they got me in and out quickly, I even had enough time to grab a bit to eat before heading back to work. Lunch breaks are never quite long enough to get things done and something in the stomach to keep you going until you clock out.

It really irks me that each and every store that I shop at has a plastic card to issue you “in order to give you discount prices” we all know that they are using the information that is scanned on that piece of plastic for marketing reasons. I hate that my wallet is so jammed packed with all these plastic cards and not with hard cash. Why don’t they just offer cheaper prices and get on with it?
