I’m so glad that Jay Leno is now coming on at 10:00pm. I have missed him. I think that this new format will take off well and I hope that we can keep watching for a long time to come. I really don’t like Conan O’Brien, he creeps me out. They really hit the nail on the head with seeing the need for a comedy at the 10:00pm slot.
I’ve gotten to the point where I’m finding myself getting tired of drinking tea all the time. Hot tea after meals and iced tea the rest of the time. Time to find something new and different. I know Kool Aid isn’t new, but it certainly is different. Soon it will be time to be breaking out the hot spiced apple cider, with a splash of Captain Morgan’s spiced rum!
Just another brick in the wall
OMG I am really feeling my age today. Last night I stepped out with a few friends and indulged in quite a few shots of Tequila, had a blast, but hangovers are hell. It’s been a while since I’ve gotten that toasted. Thank God we had a designated driver and everyone got home safe and sound.
It will be a while before I do that again, I can tell you that much!
Today my sister is celebrating her birthday. I wish she could spend the day doing everything fun and nice for herself to pamper her body and relax the mind. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful way to start the next year of your life?
It is unfortunate that she doesn’t have that luxury, what with the economic times we are all in plus the fact that her hubby was hurt in a car wreck all most two years ago and can’t work until he recovers. So it was off to work she goes, and her dinner plans include Chinese take out that she picks up on her way home from work. So at least she doesn’t have to cook.
