I really should have taken my brother’s advice and his check back in the 90′s that would have provided me with the training and the education that it would take for me to know so much about computers. I could have become an IT and be making good money at this point. Every company needs some type of managed hosting solutions and I could have been there for the ride.

I know such a small amount about computers that it scares me sometimes. When it comes to dedicated server hosting and colocation services, I have to scratch my head and shrug my shoulders most of the time. I have gotten so dependent on our ITs at work that I wish I could call them about some of my home computer issues.

It is a darn good thing that I have a cousin that is a whiz at computers and it pretty good hearted about sharing his talents and skills with friends and family members that find themselves unable to deal with a good amount of computer issues. Every family needs a computer geek to rely on, right?

It looks like I’m going ahead with the search for decent Radial Engineering Guitars to buy here real soon. My favorite niece’s high school graduation is fast approaching and I told her a few years back that when she did graduate that I would buy her the guitar of her choice and by god she managed to do real good in school and so now I’m happy to reward her on her special day.

I haven’t been to a high school graduation ceremony is such a long time. There has been a lag between that particular age group in the family. But soon we will be attending many more in the up and coming years and we always have great graduation parties and festivities for the graduates. I look forward to attending many, many more.

Back in my junior high school days everyone seemed to really enjoy my company, since I was known for my class clown acts during class. One person I will never forget is the girl that used to be obsessed with my hair by playing with it and running her fingers through it every chance she could. Well to my surprise, she had found out where I was after all these years and had stopped in for a visit for a few hours to reunite with old class mates. I thought it was really cool to see someone I used to attend high school with and see how they turned out. It makes me wonder about a lot of old class mates of mine, I do believe Ill be putting out a search myself for all those who I remember.

If you know me at all either from here on my ramblings on this blog or in real life up and personal like then you know how I feel about the recycling issue that is such a hot topic these days. I grew up with parents from the Woodstock hippie generation and was brought up with recycling becoming second nature in life. I have a habit of getting on my soap box at times about people being too lazy to participate in even the simplest recycling effort. And I’ve implemented many a recycling programs in places that I’ve worked out all of my life.

Tonight was the first night of the new TV show on CNBC called “The Secret Life of Garbage” and I’m so glad to see that this trash issue is being addressed on national TV. Did you know that 80% of the trash that we throw out could be recycled and that only 28% of our trash ends up in the recycling bins. That is an outrageous percentage folks, we could be doing so much better than that!

Knowledge is power and the Internet is a powerful tool for today’s consumers that is being taken more seriously these days. When I moved here my car insurance premiums went up and I remember complaining to my insurance agent about the rate increase. He informed me that I had moved into a different “territory” which they believe deserve charging a larger premium for. Now how crazy is that?

There has been a ton of commercials pushing insurance these past couple of years. The Internet allows you to research low cost car insurance without all the phone calls involved like back in the last century. (I’ve always wanted to say that) By going online you can find money saving auto ins tips with sites that help you compare coverages and rates. It’s certainly the most practical way of shopping for your insurance needs.

I found an interesting website that deals with low cost insurance issues at onlineautoinsurance.com. There is a lot of good information to read, links to all kinds of information related to insurance needs and concerns. I even watched one of their low income ins video online promotions that was worth watching, that is on YouTube.com.

I’ve decided that I’m going to start shopping around for a better deal on my car insurance. I hate to leave my current agent though. I used to work for him years ago and he always takes such good care of me, but if he can’t get my rates down I’ve gotta find some one else to do the job for me and there is plenty to choose from out there these days folks!

My sister is putting her youngest son through college and has learned so much about student loans (along with numerous other financial assistance) in the process, her oldest son is also going to a different college on and off and has added those experiences to add to her repertoire. Since both sons will be attending various colleges for several more years to come, she is always on the lookout for new and different avenues to take and she tells me there is a lot out there for people to learn if they take the time, as she has, and things are always changing year to year. While on the Internet the other evening I stumbled onto a site by the name creditloan.com and they have a section on student loans that I took the time to briefly review, I just to try and keep myself up to date with things like that when I know someone that I know is experiencing these issues. I just like to educate myself a bit so that I can carry on some type of conversation with them and know something of the subject of which I am speaking. I have always been like that, I just like to research things and the Internet has made it so much easier, my sister is awesome at researching things so I guess it just runs in the family more I think about it, all my siblings are that way, in their own way.

Anyway, I did manage to get up to date on some the things that go along with the student loan process these days. I myself attended a few years of college, and God knows that was a long time ago, but I had to work my way through it with out the aid of student loans so this is something that I have not had the experience of dealing with such things. I mean the basic concepts are still the same through out the years, but I do believe that they have made it much easier for folks that have no history record yet being so young and all, or have already messed up their credit ratings and therefor have a more difficult time in receiving financial aid or if they do they do pay the price for it with a higher interest rate or a larger down payment is required. But they can manage to can a loan and that is what counts.

I think that I will email my sister the link to this site in case this may have some useful information that she could use in her never ending search for assistance in getting both of her sons a college degree which she has worked so hard in doing a great job so far, I have to give her credit for that!

Not too many people rely on their old rabbit ear antennas these days, most of us are used to subscribing from a cable or a satellite provider that enables us to receive numerous channels and much better reception due to their updated technologies. I remember growing up we heard about pay TV coming in the near future. The funny thing is that we envisioned having a coin box on top of the TV that we would have to put quarters into in order to watch TV. Much like the vibrating mattresses that we all fed coins into when sleeping in a motel back in the day. Boy did we get it all wrong and had no idea of tv pricing issues that we would have to deal with in the 21st century. We hadn’t even heard of debit cards back in those days for goodness sake.

These days is really pays to do your research about your TV options. With all of the Dish TV and Direct TV offers that are being put out there you really need to know about their products and packages before signing any contract. There is a TV war going on right now, providers are all about making you an offer that you can’t refuse, so the time is right to sign up or switch over to.

I’ve always have cable myself. My parents had cable and I just followed their lead, but I’ve been seeing some interesting promotions on TV about different providers and their offerings. So I plan on doing a bit of research myself and see what I can find is the best deal and best package for me and my needs and wants.

My recent reading of a few of the provided C’elle Client Testimonial pages that I found online, gives some interesting insight to the very controversial issue of Stem Cell Research that I have found is now available to the public and is helping saves lives every day and hopefully will continue for many generations ahead of us.I have found that C’elle is now making it possible for a woman to collect these precious stem cells at home. By going online to the web site of celle.com, you are given the opportunity to order a private and discreet Fed Ex delivered, collection kit that has everything that a woman needs to easily, pain free, safely and in the privacy of being at home, collect and preserve the necessary fluid from and during her monthly menstrual period blood.

Imagine what wonderful things that technology has in mind for these harvested vital stem cells, the possibilities are endless, not only for ones self, but others in her immediate family as well. The possibility of finding the key to treat many diseases like – Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s disease, Heart disease, Osteoporosis, Strokes, even Cosmeceutical with things like anti-aging therapies, and I must mention many sports medicines, as well, would benefit from this revolutionary process that I have been reading about on the Internet.

Playing any kind of musical instrument has never come easy for. I took piano and guitar lessons as a kid, but never really amounted to anything and now that I am older I really wish that I had tried harder and kept up with those lessons. For Christmas my Dad bought me a real cool hohner harmonica and a nice neck holder to go along with it as well. I was puzzled as to why he picked something like out for me and asked him why and never did get a straight answer out of him. But I have picked it up a few times and played around with it and now am interested in learning how to really play the darn thing.

I’m told that you can find lessons online, so that will be my mission for the weekend. I plan on staying inside since the weather is supposed to be cold and nasty and I don’t want anything to do with any of that. So with my fireplace going and my Internet I’ll be good to go for the entire time.

One subject that I am going to discuss with my mother and my sister is the issue of colon cleansing, I am hearing more and more about it and I believe that they have tried it and I what to hear the stories and opinion before I go and purchase anything. I have been reading up some on the subject and have talked to a few people here and there and they all swear that a good Colon Cleanse can make a big difference in a lot of areas that I am struggling in, like sleep issues, no energy, stomach aches, back aches, foul breath and a lot of this things I’m blaming on menopause. But I’m thinking that if I can do something about these things that are driving me crazy with a good cleansing product, like Oxy-Powder, I’m thinking it would be worth it. If I do decide to buy some I will do it on-line, that is a sure bet.
