The taste of that nasty home made beer that we made so many decades ago in the basement of the old house that we grew up in, still lingers in my memory. The kits for making home brewed beers that we had available back sure have come a long way and from what I understand people are using these beer kits more and more as the amount of people are on the rise who enjoy drinking a variety of beers instead of just the old “standbys” that we grew up drinking, or tried to anyway.
My sister was telling me of a restaurant at the Tyson’s Corner Mall that she and her son went to last year that brews their own beer and has a sampler of beers that both of them really enjoyed sampling. Sampling is the way to go and I keep meaning to mention this establishment that I know several people that would enjoy going with me some time. It is a 1 1/2 hour drive, but hopefully worth the extra time and miles for something fun and different. I can’t remember the name of the place, I’ll have to check with my sister and make sure that it is still even there. Businesses come and go so quickly in malls these days.
