Looking around online just a bit learning some of places in the surrounding over in the U.K. that a group of the family is planning on visiting in the near future, if we can work it all out. I have to say that Cardiff looks pretty cool. I’d love to visit the Cardiff Castle that was built by the Romans, who were the first people to settle the area owing to its strategic location at the centre of three river systems, set up their original wooden fortification in AD 55 high atop the hill overlooking Cardiff.
This castle has over 2,000 years of history that they are willing to share with the public, with tons of events for everyone who visits and tours the castle and it’s grounds.

I just checked the weather there, it is sunny and in the 50′s, pretty much the same as here!
Every generation has grand dreams of vacationing in distant lands and countries. I’m sure the urge to travel and see places that are unknown to us is a primal one. My parents always wanted to take the whole family to Japan and then Vietnam. They were always so into the Asian culture that it was a dream we were all convinced would come true. Unfortunately we never got to make that adventure a reality. We still all talk about it from time to time though. However, we were planning on a trip to the U.K. There are several people involved with this trip so it is going to take a miracle to get this all planned out in a way that everyone will be happy! It seems that the more people you involve the harder it is to actually have good time, but that has never stopped us before so it won’t be too much of a problem this time. We thing I’d like to do is stay at the Bristol Hotel(s) at least one night, if not more. I have a friend who stays at the Bristol and always rants and raves about it. I have always wanted to see it for myself, but I never imagined that I really would one day in the future. This is going to take some organizing, and I don’t think we will be going any time soon. My sister and her hubby are doing a lot of the research and planning, which is just fine with me. I’m pretty easy to get along with so I’ll be happy with just about anything as long as everyone else is happy and getting along with each other!
There is a drain at the bottom of the outside stairs that take you down into the basement of the house. I have the worse time trying to keep it from getting all clogged up with leaves and other debris from the outside world. Several times all ready, in the past two weeks, I have had to run down there with buckets, towels, pumps and all the other crap that is needed to clean up after a minor flood. Thank goodness I’ve caught it before it got too bad, but it was enough to irrate me and take up too much of time and energy, running up and down those darned steps, back and forth, hump! With all of this rain that we are getting is playing havoc in so many ways for so many folks, so I know that I’m not alone in this boat (no pun intended, but I’ll take it at this point!)
I have a small interest in insurance business since I worked in the insurance industry for several years back in the day. My brother-in-law was an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance, and when he moved my sister and her kids to Tennessee he needed someone like me to go to his office and take care of the business for a few months. This gave them time to settle in their new home, get the kids into schools, and he found a new office in their new home town for his business. I had no idea of what I was getting myself into! It was really hard work and it was so very overwhelming and stressful, but I learned so much and I gained enough experience and knowledge from those few months that I landed another job with Nationwide Insurance once he finally closed his old office’s door for the last time. The insurance industry is always changing, trying to keep up with the times and always trying to keep a step ahead of their competitors (there are a lot of competitors in the insurance business!).
The Internet has really made a major impact on the insurance game. I love the fact that you can go online and find out just about anything that you need to know about what insurance can offer you and yours. You can get quotes in just a matter of minutes, something that could have taken hours to do back in the day. I found my south Florida home insurance professionals online and I couldn’t be happier with them. I have referred several people to their office and have gotten to know many of the employees there fairly well throughout the years. Their office is right down the street which is so convenient, too. Although I do most of my business online, once in a while I’ll just stop by and visit with them for a short while on my way home. I’ve dropped off some home made goodies to them on occasion, so it’s all good. I like knowing and getting along with people that I do business with. Since I do a lot of business with them, by sending them my hard earned money each and every month, I’ve made it a point to have a positive relationship with as many of them as I can. It’s paid off in the long run, as they have gone out of their way for me a few times and done me a favor from time to time. I don’t think I’ll be switching insurance providers any time soon and I’ll continue to send them referrals when I can.
I have run across several sites that offer Freebies, only to find out that most of the time there is a catch, which you don’t find out about until you have spent your valuable time answering pages and pages of questions, which really ends up ticking me off, big time. I don’t mind taking a few minutes and answering questions, I understand that is a major part of their marketing effort, but when it drags on for over 5 minutes and it looks like there is no end in sight, it just isn’t worth my time. I have found that it pays to read as much as you can before you start any process, especially the small, fine print. There are Free Products out there, you just have to know what to look for and keep your eyes wide open, soon you’ll be getting all kinds of goodies in your mailbox from time to time.
Free Product Samples are a great way to have people try your product in hopes that they will like it and then become a valued customer, hopefully for life. I used to love going to the Costco in town, when it first opened a few years ago. At both ends of each aisle there would be a person stationed there with Free Samples of all kinds of goodies that they were trying to promote that week. You could spend hours in there walking around, gazing at all of the items, sold in bulk, that they have at such good prices, if you have a place to keep all the stuff. And while you are walking around this huge store you can pig out on all of the Free Stuff being dished out that will keep your tummy happy and give you more energy to keep you in the store, in hopes of you buying more. It’s a good plan, one that works well for them time and time again.
