One of my co workers, Betty, has gotten into the buying of all kinds of coins this past year. There is a lot of information available on the Internet concerning the buying and selling of all types of valuables. Betty is leaning towards the platinum coins, and is always looking to buy platinum and is constantly looking at the current platinum price that she looks online for several times a day. I tell you she is totally consumed with this and she is getting others worked up about it as well.
Did you know that the Platinum Bullion American Eagle $100 coin is selling for almost $2,000. Not a bad investment for this very collectible platinum eagle which is a coin that has only been out since 1997. There is a lot to learn about all the coins that have been produced over the years, I can see why some people would really get into the whole coin collecting thing. I wish that I had gotten into it when I was a kid instead of the stupid stamp collection that my aunt tried so hard for me to get into for so long. I just couldn’t get into it and finally gave it up all together and told my aunt thanks buy no thanks after gathering up my courage for months to tell her that.
Anyway, as I said there is a lot to learn about this whole coin collecting, buying and selling, investment type deals and maybe one day I’ll start paying more attention to it all, but right now my brain is at capacity level what with work, the kids, the husband, the in-laws, personal finance issues and all the other hundreds of things that working mothers have to deal with on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. So right now I’m just not into learning things like what platinum proof means or what ordering a free gold investment kit from regalgoldcoins.com, which is one of the most popular sites that is being utilized a lot around here, but I’ll keep my ears and eyes open just the same. It’s never too late to learn something, so they say! And best of luck to you Ms. Betty.
