The Internet is well known for being a great provider of a huge variety of resources, I can’t imagine life without the Internet at this point and time. Never would have imagined that 15 years ago, even 5 years ago, now I feel as if the darn thing is attached to my hip most of the time but for good reasons. I can’t help but regret that I didn’t fore see this dependency and take some classes and or courses back then that would help me in a career in computers.
I was checking out a pretty cool website ccna.com which is a CCNA portal with CCNA Resources that is a great resource for professionals that use CISCO products. They list numerous classes that are being offered, such as Chicago CCNA, San Diego CCNA, Virginia MCITP as well as a Virginia Cisco Course. These types of classes are designed to get people certified in the high tech computer industry. Wish I had the time and the stamina, just not at this time I can tell you that.
I would really like to have a heart to heart talk with the person that was responsible for having our personal property taxes due in December each year. Making ends meet is hard enough, then throw in all of the holidays that come at that time of the year, non stop, then we have to find a way to pay all of these taxes. It just isn’t right!
I really can’t remember the last time I have picked up the paper version of the local yellowpages to find information about a business. It is so much easier to turn to my laptop and do a local search at a site such as local.com and find everything that I need, including directions, ratings and reviews and so much more that it only makes sense to go online.
I have all ready received a few gift cards as early Christmas presents and am looking forward to using them, especially the ones for restaurants. I do enjoy eating out and there are so many local restaurants out there that are just waiting for me to come and hopefully enjoy, but eating out has become very expensive so it has dampened my effort of trying every restaurant in town at least once. So receiving gift cards certainly will help that situation out.
One of my favorite places to go and eat is our Buffalo Wild Wings. It is a very laid back place to go and enjoy some time eating and spending some time out of the house and the rest of the crazy world. Red Lobster is always nice as well. I’m always in the mood for seafood, just wish it wasn’t as expensive as it always seems to be. Coupons are always welcomed and used when possible in this house hold.
The Animal Planet has a great show that comes on most mornings called “Animal Cops” that I have to admit can be hard to watch. The amount of animal cruelty and neglect that runs rampant in this country is very disturbing and these folks are working their butts off trying to make right all of the wrongs that are being done to millions of animals, of all species, each year. Hopefully these shows will help enlighten more folks to their plight.
