When I first became engaged the first thing I thought was “how can I do this myself?”. I logged onto the internet, through my new shughes net North Carolina provider, and began searching. I came across a slew of websites that allowed me to plan almost anything.
From theme choices, wedding gowns, to hair styles you can find anything you need to plan a wedding. One of the greatest things I am able to do online is interact with all my vendors. I was able to book my DJ online, and can even plan out what songs I do and don’t want to be played. I have been able to find amazing deals, and find the best vendors just through searching online.

Finally, I was able to build my wedding website. This allows all my guests, especially those from out of town to find information about hotels to stay at, entertainment in the area, and directions to different places. It also lets me share our story, and pictures. I’m so glad I have hughes internet satellite.
My brother was sweet enough to come over today while I was at work and he power washed my drive way and the walk way around the side and back of the place. Don’t know what got into him, but I’m glad something did and that I benefited from it.
The word is that resorts in Myrtle Beach are filling up this summer and fall season. The Gulf is so messed up and the mess with all of this nasty, but precious oil, is fast traveling north messing up beach plans for thousands or possibly and more reasonably millions of people for sun in the fun and the waters.
My folks were planning a trip south for Labor Day weekend, but have had to re think, re shuffle and re do the whole thing thanks to BP and their incompetence and miss management of the whole oil leak issue. My folks have used the Internet to find a Myrtle Beach hotel that can accommodate all of what they like and expect for one of their holiday events. They are avid golfers so that is an important issue to them and Myrtle Beach certainly is known for having some wonderful golf courses available.

It looks to me, I’m just surprised that they had any openings with so many flocking to Myrtle Beach South Carolina this time around. I hope the weather is good for them, they deserve a great weather get-a-way, it’s been a hard past couple of years for them.

I really should have taken my brother’s advice and his check back in the 90′s that would have provided me with the training and the education that it would take for me to know so much about computers. I could have become an IT and be making good money at this point. Every company needs some type of managed hosting solutions and I could have been there for the ride.
I know such a small amount about computers that it scares me sometimes. When it comes to dedicated server hosting and colocation services, I have to scratch my head and shrug my shoulders most of the time. I have gotten so dependent on our ITs at work that I wish I could call them about some of my home computer issues.
It is a darn good thing that I have a cousin that is a whiz at computers and it pretty good hearted about sharing his talents and skills with friends and family members that find themselves unable to deal with a good amount of computer issues. Every family needs a computer geek to rely on, right?
I remember when insurance was basically about your vehicle, your health, your home and of course there has always been life insurance available. I don’t exactly know when they started specializing so heavily, but it is amazing how much in the industry has changed in the last 16 to 20 years or so.
I have a friend that moved to Australia late last year and is finding that a new life in a new country is becoming a challenge.
