Something that I have always had fun doing is reading what the Top 100 Baby Girl Names and Top 100 Baby Boy Names are for the year. Some names seem to always be in the top 20 or so I’ve noticed and they are usually very religious based names at that, not surprising really, considering we are basically a God fearing nation.A co-worker is expecting her first baby and we are putting together a baby shower which we are hoping will be a surprise, if certain people can keep their mouths closed, which can be a challenge for a work place full of females that have worked together for years and years. But I do love it there and we have fun.

I figured that I would go on-line and shop around for a baby gift when I stumbled on to a site with a lot of good gift ideas that I had a blast looking at, and I spent more time on the site than I thought I would have but I get such a kick out of all of the gadgets that they have now a days and I get lost in it all.

Of course like all web-sites, there are other links to tempt you and this one is no different and that is how I got on the subject of the top 100 names as I was alluding to earlier. I have to admit that the lists are not much different than the year(s) before but I find myself still looking at them all these years for some reason.

My sister is putting her youngest son through college and has learned so much about student loans (along with numerous other financial assistance) in the process, her oldest son is also going to a different college on and off and has added those experiences to add to her repertoire. Since both sons will be attending various colleges for several more years to come, she is always on the lookout for new and different avenues to take and she tells me there is a lot out there for people to learn if they take the time, as she has, and things are always changing year to year. While on the Internet the other evening I stumbled onto a site by the name creditloan.com and they have a section on student loans that I took the time to briefly review, I just to try and keep myself up to date with things like that when I know someone that I know is experiencing these issues. I just like to educate myself a bit so that I can carry on some type of conversation with them and know something of the subject of which I am speaking. I have always been like that, I just like to research things and the Internet has made it so much easier, my sister is awesome at researching things so I guess it just runs in the family more I think about it, all my siblings are that way, in their own way.

Anyway, I did manage to get up to date on some the things that go along with the student loan process these days. I myself attended a few years of college, and God knows that was a long time ago, but I had to work my way through it with out the aid of student loans so this is something that I have not had the experience of dealing with such things. I mean the basic concepts are still the same through out the years, but I do believe that they have made it much easier for folks that have no history record yet being so young and all, or have already messed up their credit ratings and therefor have a more difficult time in receiving financial aid or if they do they do pay the price for it with a higher interest rate or a larger down payment is required. But they can manage to can a loan and that is what counts.

I think that I will email my sister the link to this site in case this may have some useful information that she could use in her never ending search for assistance in getting both of her sons a college degree which she has worked so hard in doing a great job so far, I have to give her credit for that!

I love reading these interesting tid bits that my best pal sends me on occasion.Believe it or not, these laws are real.

In England, it’s illegal to name your pet “Queen” or “Princess” without the Queen’s permission.
If you aren’t a member of the royal family in Japan, it’s illegal for you to own a maroon cat.
In Equatorial Guinea, you can name your daughter anything you want – except Monica.
In India, women – but not men – are allowed to marry goats.
Old English law; if an object is smaller than a husband’s little finger, he can beat his wife with it.
In Canada, if a debt is higher than 25 cents, it’s against the law for you to pay it with only pennies.
In Vancouver, British Columbia, the speed limit for tricycles is 10 miles per hour.
In Baluchistan, Pakistan, the law allows a man to “acquire” a wife by trading in his sister.
Boxing is illegal in China (too brutal) but capital punishment isn’t.

One subject that I am going to discuss with my mother and my sister is the issue of colon cleansing, I am hearing more and more about it and I believe that they have tried it and I what to hear the stories and opinion before I go and purchase anything. I have been reading up some on the subject and have talked to a few people here and there and they all swear that a good Colon Cleanse can make a big difference in a lot of areas that I am struggling in, like sleep issues, no energy, stomach aches, back aches, foul breath and a lot of this things I’m blaming on menopause. But I’m thinking that if I can do something about these things that are driving me crazy with a good cleansing product, like Oxy-Powder, I’m thinking it would be worth it. If I do decide to buy some I will do it on-line, that is a sure bet.

We always have flown a flag in every residence that I have lived at, usually the American Flag, but sometimes we will do a Holiday flag or even the Confederate flag of the South, that stirs the neighbors up at times. The flag that is barely flying right now in front of the house is in need of retirement badly. It has been so long since I have bought a flag, I had to think of where one would go to purchase one. The answer of course is a flag store, but there is not a flag store at every street corner but then I remembered that I had seen at Walmart a selection of not only the seasonal/holiday variety but the true American flag, but I do not remember what the prices were and what quality of flag that it truly was for the price, what ever it may be.So I think that I will do some on-line shopping around and see what I can come up with when I Google “American Flags”, I do want one that cost a fortune, but I do want a quality product for the money that I do pay with. We will see what I come up with.
