Resse Payton playing with blogging

My sister is putting her youngest son through college and has learned so much about student loans (along with numerous other financial assistance) in the process, her oldest son is also going to a different college on and off and has added those experiences to add to her repertoire. Since both sons will be attending various colleges for several more years to come, she is always on the lookout for new and different avenues to take and she tells me there is a lot out there for people to learn if they take the time, as she has, and things are always changing year to year. While on the Internet the other evening I stumbled onto a site by the name creditloan.com and they have a section on student loans that I took the time to briefly review, I just to try and keep myself up to date with things like that when I know someone that I know is experiencing these issues. I just like to educate myself a bit so that I can carry on some type of conversation with them and know something of the subject of which I am speaking. I have always been like that, I just like to research things and the Internet has made it so much easier, my sister is awesome at researching things so I guess it just runs in the family more I think about it, all my siblings are that way, in their own way.

Anyway, I did manage to get up to date on some the things that go along with the student loan process these days. I myself attended a few years of college, and God knows that was a long time ago, but I had to work my way through it with out the aid of student loans so this is something that I have not had the experience of dealing with such things. I mean the basic concepts are still the same through out the years, but I do believe that they have made it much easier for folks that have no history record yet being so young and all, or have already messed up their credit ratings and therefor have a more difficult time in receiving financial aid or if they do they do pay the price for it with a higher interest rate or a larger down payment is required. But they can manage to can a loan and that is what counts.

I think that I will email my sister the link to this site in case this may have some useful information that she could use in her never ending search for assistance in getting both of her sons a college degree which she has worked so hard in doing a great job so far, I have to give her credit for that!

One of my motto’s is ”Never pay full price for anything” and I understand that there are millions of others out there that life by the same code and how we look upon people that don’t give a second thought about paying full price with such bewilderness.

I’m currently looking around for discount travel specials on flights, hotel rooms and car rentals so that we can do a long weekend somewhere. We are not fortunate enough to be able to spend thousands of dollars for a week long vacation, but we do on occasion save up enough to go somewhere and put in a good three days or so.

One of my favorite money saving web-sites is Bestonlinecoupons.com, it has so many opportunities to save money with thousands of on-line coupons, promotions and discount codes, that get updated often, and I find that I make a lot of purchases with a good majority of the on-line merchants that list their saving opportunities on this site. There is Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Office Depot, Old Navy, and so many more, over 700 merchants are listed in all, and what really floats my boat is that their is NO Registration required! I can’t tell you how sick I am of the registrations and USER IDs and passwords and hints OMG it has totally whacked me at, so I am grateful when I find a cool site like this and it helps that it is free.

So I am keeping my eyes open for some deals that will come in handy in my planning of our fun for the year, I just have to figure out where I want to go, so many choices, but I’m up to the challenge!
